How curiosity turned into a career rooted in thoughtful design?

childhood curiosity
When I was a child, I watched my father's coloured pencil drawing that completely mesmerized me. It didn’t look like a pencil drawing at all; it felt real. I remember asking him again and again how he made it, trying to understand how something so simple could become so powerful. That curiosity never went away.
love for design
Years later, while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, I began learning Photoshop on my own. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a deep love for digital painting and visual expression. I found myself drawn to the emotional side of visuals, how colour, composition, and detail could tell a story without words.
co-founded a baking business
Life led me in another direction, and I co-founded a small baking business, but the design remained central, shaping the brand’s identity, presence, and connection with its audience. And I saw how thoughtful design directly impacted how people perceived and trusted the business. That experience changed everything for me.
Moved to canada
I decided to pursue design professionally, studying Graphic Design and later UX/UI design to better understand users, systems, and digital experiences. Along the way, I taught myself website design and development, allowing me to create work that isn’t just visually strong, but functional and well thought out.

What started as curiosity has evolved into a career built around creating thoughtful, functional, and visually strong design systems. Today, my work sits at the intersection of visual storytelling, branding, website design, and user experience. I take a strategic, hands-on approach to translating ideas into clear, purposeful design and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure every decision aligns with brand goals and user needs.
The feedback I value most is when clients say I truly understand their brand, when the work feels natural, intentional, and accurate. That’s what I focus on: creating work that feels right, works well, and genuinely reflects the people behind it.
My Hobbies
Baking
I love to bake and make cakes for my friends and family. I also worked as a cake decorator and gave baking classes.
